The "Book Trail"

on the trail of the bible smugglers 

Embark on the "Book Trail", on the trail of the Bible smugglers from the time of clandestine Protestantism. The long-distance hiking trails from Passau to Arnoldstein also passes our area from Afritz am See via Wiesen and Erlach along Seestrasse to the sledging run "Mirnock 73".

There the ascent starts from 751 metres above sea level to the Hochalmhütte chalet at 1780 metres and on to the peak of Mirnock (2110m).

Walking time: ca. 4.5 hours, 10km
