Alpine game park

Stroll through the 11-hectare game park in Feld am See with its 30 different types of animals and pets, a small animal zoo (rabbits, goats), a children's playground and refreshments, within the impressive Alpine valley setting of the Gegendtal.

The churches in Feld am See

the evangelical church

Visit the Evangelical Church built in 1787 in Feld am See. Its distinctive tower is reflected in the crystal clear Brennsee and is the landmark of the community.

The St. Josef Catholic Church built in 1960 is dedicated to Saint Josef, the patron saint of workers.

Feldpannalm Alpine village

A MOUNTAIN VILLAGE WITH PLENTY OF CULTURE

There are 2 alpine huts in the Feldpannalm, allowing you to refuel after a hike: Rieserhütte and Wegerhütte. The huts can be accessed by car up the toll road (€ 6,00 - Rauthstrasse) from Feld am See, per by bike, on foot or with the Kaiserburgbahn from Bad Kleinkirchheim, followed by a walk down the mountain.

 

 

 

 

 

The "Book Trail"

Embark on the "Book Trail", on the trail of the Bible smugglers from the time of clandestine Protestantism. The long-distance hiking trails from Passau to Arnoldstein also passes our area from Afritz am See via Wiesen and Erlach along Seestrasse to the sledging run "Mirnock 73".
